I AM the Bread of Life

Have you met someone and they asked, “Who are you?” What if you answered, “Well, I am.” That would be a true statement, because you exist. But they would mostly likely say, “You are what?"

When Jesus came down from heaven, He introduced Himself in a very bold way: He said, “I AM”. Every Jewish person at that time knew the story of Moses at the burning bush when He met God there and asked God His name. Exodus 3:13-14 tells us that God's response was "I AM Who I AM." Jesus took that idea of God as the great I AM and He (rightfully) claimed that identity for Himself.

If we all don't know each other, we haven't missed much. But if we don't know who Jesus is, we've missed EVERYTHING! This series will look at the seven "I AM" statements made by Jesus.

This opening session will focus on "I AM the Bread of Life." Please find John 6:22-59.
