2025 Fall Festival FAQ Sheet

FALL FESTIVAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. When and where is the Fall Festival this year?
The Fall Festival is two part this year.
Fall Festival - Part I is Wednesday, October 22, 6:00-9:00pm at Sevier Co Fair Grounds at 754 Old Knoxville Highway in Sevierville.
Fall Festival - Part II is Friday, October 31, in homes across our community. Our desire is to see church members intentionally use this night to invite lost neighbors into their homes, to collect or give away candy together, or to start gospel-centered conversations with families as they walk the streets of our local neighborhoods.

2. Part II sounds intimidating - how do I do that if I don’t feel ready and equipped?
Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered! We will be equipping our church to go into their world on Sunday, October 26, at 6:30pm in the Worship Center. Folks will not only receive real-life examples of how to engage others in conversation, but families will also receive a box full of supplies needed for having a great night on October 31. Some of those supplies will include candy, glow sticks, Bibles, invite cards, and gospel tracts.

3. Do I need to register to receive a box for my family to use for Part II of the Fall Festival on Friday, October 31?
Yes, we want everyone who would like a supply box to register by clicking here. That will ensure everything is ready for you to receive on Sunday evening, October 26, during our equipping time.

4. Do I need to register to volunteer at Part I of the Fall Festival on Wednesday October 22?
Yes, we need your help in serving our community that night! You can sign up and see the needs we have that night by clicking here.

5. Who is invited to the Fall Festival this year?
This year’s two-part event has something for everyone. On Wednesday, October 22,  we hope that you and our community will join in the fun and fellowship at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. On Sunday evening, October 26, our church will gather together to receive supply boxes and equipping in preparation for hosting a party or collecting candy with other families on Friday, October 31.

6. What will Part I of the Fall Festival at the fairgrounds include?
We will have games, inflatables, and interactive booths suitable for all ages; there will also be several food trucks available where guests can purchase dinner, drinks, and sweets at their convenience. We will have different snacks and opportunities to gather together and hear the good news of how Jesus has made it possible for everyone - including our neighbors - to have peace with God.

7. Why is the Fall Festival different this year?
It’s shorter and in a new location. The Fall Festival has taken various forms over time at FBC Sevierville. Many years ago, the Fall Festival was held on one night in the Family Life Center. Over a decade ago, we shifted to a weeklong event at our church’s Park Road property. This year, the team that leads this event decided it might be wise to do something different and try something new. We are giving a nod to the past (a single night filled with laughter and fun) while mobilizing our kind, hospitable church members to do something innovative (have an intentional night of sharing the gospel with others as part of their regular rhythms of life).

8. Why is this event important?
As you know, our mission is to glorify God and make disciples by helping people move from their point of need to hope in Christ. FBC Sevierville is a place where we value building relationships, giving generously, serving together, teaching truth, and changed lives. We don’t just have values but we also measure how we are doing by asking two questions. Are We Becoming: gospel-centered, growth-oriented, giving generously? Are We Doing these things: sharing consistently, showing love, standing together?

Our prayer is that the Fall Festival will accomplish all of the things that we are known for and called to. As we engage our neighbors in both Part I & Part II of the Fall Festival, we will be doing what we do best - serving together. Ultimately, we pray that God would use these opportunities to see Him change lives through gospel-centered conversations.
