I Am Surrounded

In this series, we have been learning from 10 songs in the book of Psalms that teach us how to stay strong and have faith no matter what.

As we look at Psalm 125, a song of ascent, remember it was meant to be sung as God's people were traveling up to Jerusalem for three holy days each year: Passover in the Spring, Pentecost in early Summer, and Tabernacles in the Fall.

Singing these songs built excitement and prepared their hearts for worship. But they have a purpose for us, too. Life is a journey, and for those who love the Lord, our final destination is up to the holy city of Heaven. Every step of the way the Lord is watching over us!
