GO Make Disciples

Have you ever had to wait in an airport for your flight to leave? You know where you are going. You have your ticket. But now you are just killing time until it is your turn to board the airplane and leave.

Unfortunately, many of us as disciples of Jesus live our lives like that. Spiritually, we have a ticket to go. We’ve put our faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord. We know when we die or Christ returns, we will be with Him in Heaven. But until that day, we are just killing time. We take care of our kids, live our lives, go to church on Sunday, but our faith doesn’t have a lot to do with our everyday lives.

However, the Scriptures tell us that God has so much more for us in this life. Christ has called us not just to be disciples but to GO and make disciples.

Let’s focus on Matthew 28:18-20.
