GO Out
Compared to the rest of the world, Christians live with a very unique perspective. We believe that wherever we are, Jesus sent us there with an important assignment - to be His witnesses. That is the active call of God on our lives. We are never off-duty, we never retire. Whatever we are doing, we understand that activity has a higher purpose than the world can see. Our purpose is to point people to Jesus.
Jesus told us to GO into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature; GO make disciples of all nations, starting where we are; GO tell people what He has done. Christians live under those orders, so for us, it’s always GO TIME.
In this session, we will look at a section of Scripture where Jesus told a parable at lunch after church one Sabbath day in the home of a Pharisee. He invited Jesus, the carpenter from Nazareth. who was to them nothing more than a country rabbi. They hated Him. In fact, the luncheon was really an opportunity for them to embarrass and discredit Jesus. Fully aware of this, Jesus turns the subject to the resurrection of the just.
