GO Bear Fruit

In John 14:31, Jesus said to His disciples the night before He died, "Arise, let’s go." The rest of this Upper Room Discourse (chapters 15-17) was probably given en route to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus would be arrested and carried off to die.

Picture Jesus and His disciples as they leave the upper room, walk down through the Kidron Valley. There are vineyards on the hills around Jerusalem. It is a moonlit night. Maybe Jesus stops at the edge of the vineyard and says, “Guys, remember...I am the vine. You are the branches. Without me, you can do nothing.”

Let's look at John 15:1-17 and 4:28-42.
