The Gospel is for Everyone

We have come to one of the most important turning points in history.  As we read about it, let's see how it can change the way we see how much God loves us, how it changes the way we see the people in the world around us, and how it gives clarity to our mission as Christians.

When Saul was saved, the pressure of persecution was lifted, and that brought about a period of peace for the church. This enabled the Gospel to expand throughout Israel and Samaria. Saul has gone home to Tarsus for the time being, and the Apostle Peter leads the way in ministry. Peter evidently goes on a tour of the churches that had been established; he was going around providing pastoral care, teaching the Word, and ministering to the saints.

Acts 9 tells about two amazing events in Peter’s ministry. Remember, Jesus had given His apostles special authority over demons, diseases, and even death. While the New Testament was being written down, this was an important time for the apostles to speak authoritatively about Jesus and to perform signs and wonders that would validate their message.

Let's look at Acts 9:32-11:18 and read about one of these miracles.
