Saul's Amazing Transformation

It has been said many times that Saul (a.k.a. Paul) was the greatest Christian who ever lived. Whether he was or not, no one knows for sure. But in terms of impact, the Bible does present a pretty amazing résumé…His story dominates 17 chapters of the Book of Acts.

After his conversion on the road to Damascus, Saul became a champion for Christ. His life ended as a martyr in Rome in 67AD – but not before he penned 14 of the 27 books of the New Testament, started church planting movements from the Middle East into Europe, and trained a generation of missionaries and pastors.

But even Saul had a beginning to his life as a believer and a time of spiritual formation and preparation. Let's look at Acts 9:17-31 and see Saul's amazing transformation.
