Awakened to the Fight

In this series, we have been asking the Lord to awaken us. If God has been stirring in your heart – if you’ve identified your burden and clarified your vision – then you’re probably discovering something: When you step out in faith to pursue what God has called you to do, you will face opposition. Not might. Will.

If you’re doing something that matters for the Kingdom of God, you will encounter resistance. The enemy doesn’t attack what doesn’t threaten him. Most visions die not because they were bad ideas, but because people quit when opposition comes. We're staying in Nehemiah, Chapters 4 & 6. Last time, Nehemiah cast the vision to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls, and the people responded and bought in to the vision.

But as soon as they started building, the opposition showed up. Let's find out what happened and how Nehemiah stood strong. Because his response is an example for how you can stand strong when you face your own opposition.
