Repent & Be Converted

We live in a culture that has decided that we should never offend or point out fault, only affirm. Every platform, every advertisement, is built on some version of the same message: you are fine as you are. You don’t have to change anything, just follow your heart. Live your truth.

If we are going to tell people the whole Gospel, we have to say, “Who you already are is a sinner. And if you follow your own heart and your own truth, be warned – there is a way that seems right to a person, but in the end it leads to death.”

We can’t just affirm people into heaven. The Good News of the Gospel is, “You are not OK in your natural, sinful condition, but if you will repent & be converted – turn from your sin and turn to Jesus – you will be saved!”

As a church in our culture today, we have to be careful that by not offending anybody, we also end up never helping anybody. Please find Acts 3:11-4:4.
