Offerings (Part 1)

This new series, “HOLY: God is, We’re not, What now?”, focuses on the book of Leviticus – right in the heart of the Bible Jesus read. Leviticus is a book that is rarely read and almost never preached. Its name comes from the tribe of Levi, the priests who served the Lord in the Tabernacle. It was a handbook for how to worship a Holy God and how to live a holy life. This book is filled with a lot of details and repetition. 

Because God is holy, and we as human beings are unholy, how can we approach Him? God told His people they had to come to Him with sacrifices. Let’s look at two kinds in this session: the burnt offering and the peace offering.
