The Judgment Seat of Christ

In this series, we have been looking at what happens after we die. You can Google that and find thousands of different opinions. But you certainly don’t need to listen to people who can only guess about the afterlife. You need the truth. So, let's go to the author of all truth, the creator of all life, and look to His Word for answers.

We will be looking at the Judgment Seat of Christ in this session. What we learn in verse like Romans 14:10-12 and 2 Corinthians 5:8-10 is that the Judgment Seat of Christ is not going to be a judgment for our sins – this is a judgment for Christians only. Our sins have already been judged when Jesus took them to the cross.

The Judgment Seat of Christ is a place where Jesus is acknowledging what you did in this life, and He is rewarding it in the afterlife. You are saved by grace, but you are rewarded for your works. Our good works are not the basis for our salvation, they are the evidence of our salvation.
