The Hope of Heaven

This series is about the Afterlife – what happens after you breathe your last breath, your heart stops, and you die? We learn in the Bible that in that moment, your soul will separate from your physical body. And at that point, your spiritual condition and your personal record will be locked in.

Based on your spiritual condition, your soul will go immediately to one of only two possible destinations: unsaved people will go immediately to hell. We've discussed the horrors of that place. But saved people will go immediately to heaven.

In 1 Corinthians 2:9 the Apostle Paul said, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” No amount of words can adequately describe Heaven. The things you will see you have never seen anything like it on earth! The things you will hear in heaven you have never heard anything like it on earth! You can’t imagine in your wildest dreams how awesome it will be!
