Love and Truth

As we continue this series of studying books of the Bible that have only one chapter, we will be looking at Second John. This is the smallest book in the Bible, with only about 300 words. Second John was written by the Apostle John, the only one of the Disciples who was not martyred, but he did endure persecution.
In Verses 1-6, John repeats two things that are fundamentally important to our faith: love and truth. He links them together, because we have to balance them. Here's how it works: We love out of our belief in God's truth. We speak truth out of a heart of love.
