To You, O Lord

Many of us wear contacts or glasses. Without vision correction, we would not be able to focus-in on anything. But with that correction, we can focus clearly on just about everything.

At the beginning of 2025 is a good time to check the focus of our lives, to step back, evaluate our faith and our relationship with God and the condition of your heart, to see if our priorities are aligned with God’s will. It's a good time to make sure we can clearly see where we are headed.

In this new series, we will be looking at a prayer that King David sang, and it is going to help us to get spiritually re-focused. Please find Psalm 25:1-22. David’s opening line is “To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.” In other psalms, we are told to lift up our hands and lift up our voices to the Lord in praise and to lift up our eyes to the Lord to seek Him. But what does it mean to lift up our souls to the Lord?
