I'm Struggling with Feeling Close to God

Over and over, the Bible presents God as one who desires to have a close relationship with His creation – but time and time again His creation responds to that desire, gets close, and then backs off.

The Bible is clear that your Heavenly Father desires a relationship with you that is not casual, not distant, not based just around a holiday, not a one-hour-a-week thing – but a relationship that is characterized by closeness.

Maybe you can point to a time in your life when you remember feeling that way but you’ve lost that. Let's look at Jeremiah Chapters 1-4.
