The Great Pursuit

Pursue means to go after, to chase, to gain. What does your heart pursue? What do you long for and try to obtain? Do you pursue a relationship with our Lord? Or do you seek after worldly wealth? Have you stopped to consider that the God of the universe pursues us?

As hard as that is to believe, it is the absolute truth. We can see this as we look at the story of the Samaritan woman in the 4th chapter of John. Just like her, Jesus knows our weaknesses and our faults and yet He loves us enough to pursue us anyway.
