“Hits Different” is a phrase that describes something that has an unexpected impact on you in a powerful way; something that surprises you because it hits you in a way that is deeply meaningful.
In this series, we will be looking at the greatest sermon ever preached, "The Sermon on the Mount", in Matthew 5-7. This is where Jesus lays out a vision for how He wants His followers to live, what life is going to be like in His Kingdom. For those who first heard it, it turned everything they thought they knew about living for the Lord completely upside-down.
In this first session, we will be looking at Matthew 5:1-12, the Beatitudes.
