He's Got You Covered

In this session, we will look at Psalm 63. David wrote this Psalm when he was in the wilderness of Judah. So, what was this wilderness and why was David out there?

At one point in David's struggle to stay alive as King Saul pursued him, David escaped to an area east of Jerusalem toward the Dead Sea. This area was barren, dry, desolate, dangerous, and a lonely place. There were few resources and even fewer people.

Anybody can survive in the desert for a day, but after several days it would have become much harder. But David begins to do something very strange. He looks up, and a big smile spreads across his face. He lifts his hands high in the air and begins to sing a song of praise to his God!
