The Disciples in the Boat

Have you ever found yourself in a storm? Trouble comes along suddenly, without warning or explanation, and you feel like you are in a little boat out on the water, it is dark, the water is slapping hard against the wood, the wind is howling, waves crashing – and you start to panic. You're afraid of what might happen.

In this series, we have been in the Gospel of Mark, exploring one key moment in the life of Jesus during each session. In this one, we are going to double-up and drop in on 2 moments. In both of them, the disciples of Jesus are taking a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and they encounter a storm. Both storms reveal something important about Jesus – and what kind of Savior He is in the storm.
