Show Me Your Ways

Jan 12, 2025    Pastor Dan Spencer

In this session, we will look at Psalm 25:4-11. This is such a great passage for providing clarity.

Whatever David may have been going through in his life (the battles he was fighting as a warrior, the information he was processing as a king, the politics he was navigating among his team, the family issues he was facing), David prays with clarity about what he needs to ask the Lord to do: show me Your ways, teach me Your paths, lead me in Your truth, show me Your mercy, pardon my sins.

He prays with clarity about who the Lord is: the God who loves him, saves him, forgives him; the God who is willing to transform a sinner like him into a faithful keeper of the covenant; a God who could just judge David straight to hell – but He doesn’t. He shows him mercy; He reveals His ways to David.

Let's look at three truths about the Lord that will help us to refocus our lives. Then we'll also look at a plan to take a few steps in the right direction this week.
