Beyond Compare

Comparisons are so easy to make and we are all guilty of making them. We compare ourselves to other people. We compare music and food and all sorts of other things. We even compare our religions. But when we look at Psalm 8, we realize that there is no comparison when it comes to our Lord. He is so far above and beyond compare!

Psalm 8 is a Messianic passage, meaning it was quoted (at least three times) in the New Testament with reference to Jesus Christ. This Scripture states that God’s name is excellent above all other names. What a shame that our world misses that! As we study this passage, let’s focus on our incomparable God.
