Helping Hands

In Exodus 17, we read about Israel’s first major conflict in nearly 400 years. They had been in slavery and bondage to the Egyptians. They had not trained or prepared for warfare. Moses said for them to choose some men. Was there even a military unit formed at that time?

The attack seemed unprovoked. The timing of the attack followed right on the heels of a huge blessing where God provided water for them. Satan uses this tactic very often...not just for them but for us also. Let’s study this passage.
