I'm Struggling with Discouragement

Apr 23, 2017    Pastor Dan Spencer

Struggles are unavoidable, they are unpredictable – and we will deal with them until we get to heaven. You are bound to struggle, but when you do, you can struggle well. When you struggle, you can struggle in His strength, and you can struggle in victory.

The Bible word for “discouraged” means that the strength of your soul has dissolved. It drains the vitality from your soul. The dictionary definition of discouragement is “the state of being deprived of courage”: dis + couraged.

Discouragement affects your heart. It makes you want to quit; it causes you to say things you would never say, and to do things you would never do if you were encouraged.

Find 2 Corinthians 4:7-15 and let's learn from it.
