WHAT IS KIDS CAMP?
FBC Sevierville’s Kids Camp is a four-day event designed for older boys and girls to get away from the busyness of life and have a time of dedicated focus on King Jesus.
WHEN IS KIDS CAMP 2022?
This year’s camp will be Saturday, July 16, through Tuesday, July 19. We will leave Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and return on Tuesday afternoon around 5:00 p.m.
WHERE IS KIDS CAMP 2022?
Kids Camp 2022 will be held at Shocco Springs Conference Center in Talladega, Alabama. We will be joining over 1,000 others from all over the Southeast this summer!
WHY IS KIDS CAMP 2022 IN ALABAMA?
Student Life Kids Camp (SLKC) is the impetus behind traveling to Talladega. SLKC does an incredible job of providing an environment to lay a solid foundation of faith by empowering leaders from our church to teach the kids from our church.
HOW MUCH DOES KIDS CAMP 2022 COST?
The total cost for camp is $275 per camper. This includes all meals, transportation, activities, materials, and two t-shirts.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO GO TO KIDS CAMP?
Boys and girls who have completed 3rd-6th grade are eligible for camp. Due to the nature of staying multiple nights away from home, it is better to limit camp to older kids only.
HOW DO WE REGISTER AND PAY FOR KIDS CAMP?
You can find links to registration and payment on our church’s website by visiting sevier.church/kidscamp. You can also access some parent FAQs, packing lists, etc.
WHO IS CHAPERONING KIDS CAMP?
Current Life Group leaders get first priority to be chaperones as they continue to build relationships with our boys and girls. However, being a chaperone is not limited to being a Life Group leader.
HOW DO I SIGN UP TO BE A CHAPERONE?
You can indicate your interest in being a Kids Camp 2022 chaperone by emailing Kelli Douglass—Kids Ministry Assistant. Her email address is [email protected].
WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS A FOOD ALLERGY?
The chefs at Shocco Springs Conference Center offer the ability to have allergy-free meals. We can notify the kitchen staff to have special meals ready for those kids who need them.
HOW MANY KIDS CAN GO TO CAMP?
Due to the large amount of children and leaders who will be at kids camp, we are limited on how many folks can go this summer. Therefore, registrants will be given spots on a “first come, first served” basis.
WHAT IF I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS?
You can always contact Keith Allmon—Kids Pastor—or Kelli Douglass—Kids Ministry Assistant—with any needs you have. They can be reached by phone (865.453.9001) or email ([email protected] & [email protected]).
