➢ PURPOSE
The main purpose of this position is to provide support and assistance to the Facilities Director, for the proper functioning of their buildings.
➢ RESPONSIBILITIES
The person in this position must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality relative to the information obtained through the position.
➢ SKILL AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. Have basic experience and knowledge with the management of Microsoft Office systems. (World, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
2. Have organizational skills at work.
3. Be willing to learn how to use new systems unique to the church.
4. Maintain good work communication with the director and the facility staff for the proper functioning of the church.
➢ ASSITANT FACILITIES DIRECTOR DUTIES
1. Work planned projects as directed by the Building Operations Director.
2. Complete the required work order as directed.
3. Assist the director of operations with any request required for the proper maintenance and development of the campus and its activities.
4. Place purchase orders for items or projects authorized by the Director of
Operations and the administrative part of the church, always attach the required documentation.
5. Provide necessary cleaning supplies and paper products for the church monthly.
6. Analyze the cost and benefit of the products purchased, always guaranteeing budget savings for the maintenance department and the church.
7. Guarantee the order and supply of each of the campus storage facilities.
8. Provide the schedule to the maintenance and cleaning facilities staff each week.
9. Keep facilities staff informed of any event, configuration or need that arises in the church.
10. Review and stay updated daily with the church calendar, answer calls, respond to emails, stay up to date with purchase orders and invoices.
11. Attend the weekly meeting organized by the Operations Director and provide any documents needed.
12. Guarantee updating the setup of each room according to your event, with photographs and descriptions.
13. Manage reservation requests for church vehicles on the calendar.
14. Other duties as required.
➢ EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. High School Diploma, minimum
2. Experience in office work and teamwork
3. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
➢ WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
The work is purely office work, but sometimes due to different types of events and the church agenda, there may be other activities to carry out, this to support other ministries for the proper functioning of the church. This can be (organizing, decorating, grocery shopping, attending events to help other coworkers, among other tasks).
➢ PERSONAL APPEARANCE
The person in the position of assistant is in constant contact with the members of the church and with the members of the community. As a result, standards of personal appearance and grooming are expected to be at a professional level. No uniform will be provided.

3. Cannot have been convicted of a criminal offense, including a felony or misdemeanor
