John 1:40-43 - One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his own brother. Simon and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ). He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “So you are Simon the son of John? You shall be called “Cephus” (which means Peter)
Can you imagine the excitement of Andrew, who had just met the Messiah, the Lamb of God? The passage says that the first thing he did was to find his brother to take him to meet Him. We should want everyone we know to meet Him.
Prayer Prompt
We should eagerly ask the Lord to renew our excitement in sharing the Gospel and the Lord Jesus daily.
