Throw a “Matthew Party”

Luke 5:29 – “Then Levi hosted a grand banquet for him at his house. Now there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were guests with them.”
Levi (or Matthew) was a tax collector who left behind his godless ways to follow Jesus. His next move was to invite all his godless friends to a party to meet this man who changed his life. When Jesus changes your life, you can’t wait to help others meet Him too. How about you? Who could you have over for dinner or coffee soon to hang out with you and your Christian friends so you can introduce them to Jesus?
Prayer Prompt
Find a time on your calendar to host a “Matthew party.” Begin praying about which Christian friends you will invite. Which non-Christians will you invite? Ask the Lord to give you wisdom as you plan.
