Just Two Words

Luke 5:27b-28 – ‘Follow Me.’ And he left everything behind, and got up and began following Him.
1 Corinthians 11:1 — Be imitators of me, just as I am of Christ.
As we read about Jesus calling His disciples to follow Him, we see how direct and simple an invitation to life with Him truly is. Jesus looked at Levi and said two words. For those of us who are not eloquent in speech, we can still look at our friends, colleagues, classmates, and teammates and say two of the most important words, “Follow Jesus.” As a believer, we are called out to follow Christ, and Christ alone. Are you? Can those around you follow you to Christ? Have you invited those around you to follow Jesus?
Prayer Prompt
Pray that you would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as you move through the day today. As He prompts you be ready to invite those around you to follow Jesus.
