It’s Paid For!

Isaiah 55:1 – “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters. And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
I love to enjoy opportunities that have already been paid for… by someone else! What a blessing. That someone cared enough to pay for something that would benefit me. In John 7:37, Jesus may have been thinking of Isaiah 55:1 when He invited the spiritually thirsty to come and drink water that satisfies, which only He can provide. The beauty of what Jesus offers is that He has already paid for what we need the most. Isaiah teaches that we don’t need any money for what Jesus offers. Just accept His invitation to an abundant and satisfying life by trusting Him.
Prayer Prompt
Spend time thanking God for the gift of His Son. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly at His expense. Do you know someone who is thirsty? Pray for opportunity to share.
